John Mannion sets new fundraising record for Central NY House seat amid surge of support

Washington – State Sen. John Mannion has set a new fundraising record for a Central New York congressional election, fueled by a surge of Democratic support after Kamala Harris entered the presidential race.
Mannion, D-Geddes, raised a little more than $2 million for his campaign in the quarter that ended Sept. 30, according to a disclosure report he filed this week with the Federal Election Commission.
